When do you install/remove the set up for my event? 

Wildernest will set up for your event up to five days ahead, depending on the weather. Pack down will again depend on weather, but usually it will be the day following your event. 

Do you charge a bond and require a deposit? 

Yes, we do charge a bond (100% refundable if no damage has incurred). This is $500 for furniture hire and $1,000 for tent hire for weddings, corporate events and private holidays. 

We require a 50% deposit upon confirming your event or hire. The remainder is to be paid 28 days before your event. 

Do you offer complete planning for an event? 

Yes, we offer a complete planning service with as much help as you need. We can take the entire event off your hands and organise every aspect (right down to the smallest detail). We can even keep your event running without a hitch.

We use our creativity and event styling to help design, plan and bring your vision to life.  

How do I estimate the size of an area required to set up a bell tent? 

Each bell tent requires a minimum space of 7m in diameter. This includes the guy ropes.  

I am planning a wedding, corporate, festival or private holiday and don’t know how to calculate the amount of space required. Can you help? 

Please contact us to talk through your ideas. A member of our experienced team can provide details of the space required, whether it includes tents, furniture, amenities and lounge areas to accommodate your guests.

Locations

We work in many different locations across the country. We are always open to going to new places.

Wildernest will travel to anywhere in New Zealand, across both the North Island and South Island. We are experts in logistics for remote locations. 

What areas of New Zealand does Wildernest go?

Wildernest is based in and travels from Auckland. We will travel anywhere in New Zealand.

Do you have a base in the South Island?

Not at this stage, but we are looking into it.

How can I get a quote for my event, including bell tents and furniture?

After years of experience, Wildernest has perfected the bell tent design for the New Zealand climate. We now retail these directly to the public. We have helped set up several permanent glamping sites across the country. Get in touch with us to talk further.

Corporate Events

I am organising a corporate event and want to create a spectacular day/weekend for my clients. Can you help?

Wildernest has a number of locations and venues throughout New Zealand that will give your corporate event that wow factor.  Outdoor events are our speciality. We provide full event management, or we can collaborate with you to create your spectacular event.  Contact us here to start planning your corporate event.

Our corporate events are tailor-made and include any of the following:

  • Conference and lounge areas

  • Bespoke pop-up bar and eatery

  • Concierge on arrival and reception tent

  • Accommodation for more than 200 people, in 5m fully furnished bell tents (powered if required)

Festivals

How do I book a glamping tent at a festival? Do I book through the event site or on the Wildernest website?

You’ll need to book your glamping tent directly via the event site. Festivals Wildernest will be at these summer events:

How many people will fit in one tent? What is the bedding arrangement?

Wildernest’s bell tents sleep 1–4 people in 4 singles, or 1 queen and 2 singles, or 2 queen beds.

Can I be next to my friends who are also in the glamping village?

Yes, absolutely. Before each festival we send all guests a welcome email and online form so you can alert us about camping next to friends and any other details we need to know about.

What can a glamping village consist of?

  • Concierge / reception / security

  • Up to 115 bell tents

  • Beds and linen

  • Mobile phone charging stations

  • Lounge and bar areas with furniture and lighting

  • Powder rooms with mirrors, flushing toilets and showers

Weddings

Who sets up the tents and furniture?

Wildernest will look after all set-up and pack down – you can leave all the hard work to us. Depending on the size of your set-up, Wildernest will need to access to the location 1–5 days leading up to your wedding.  

I need a stylist and or wedding planner. Do you provide these?

Yes, absolutely. Contact us here and one of our team members will be in touch to assist you. For wedding Styling, we recommend Claire from One Lovely Day.

We don’t have a date locked down but want to look into using Wildernest for our wedding. Can you help?

Please contact us to get the ball rolling. Ideally, we do need a date before we can start planning as our furniture and bell tents are subject to availability.

Do you have wedding packages?
